I've been a psychotherapist, social worker and substance abuse counselor for 19 years. I've been in private practice for 9 years, seeing individuals and couples. Couples come to me with a variety of issues including problems communicating, parenting issues, addiction/co-dependency, and domestic violence/anger management. I develop an approach to suit the particular couple, which may include only couples counseling, a mix of couples and individual sessions, or individual sessions with a referral for the spouse, in order to meet the needs of that particular couple.
