Are you struggling with sadness?
Unhappy in your current life situation?
Do you feel stuck?
Want to make some changes?
Therapy can help you figure it all out.
I work to help adults heal unresolved wounds from childhood; achieve greater self-awareness and self-esteem; improve relationships with partners, friends and co-workers; increase their ability to make life-enhancing choices; and improve every day life issues. In addition, I work in the field of trauma and grief. I have dedicated myself to assisting others through the difficult times in their lives. Life Healing Heart is a gentle and compassionate approach to therapy. We all have the power and ability to make positives changes to grow and learn. Sometimes we just need some help in finding our strengths to do so!
It is essential for each of us to discover our own way of being. Frequently, in therapy, people often feel frustrated because they don't believe they have the ability to change their situation.
Therapy is a joint partnership between the client and the therapist. Together we will explore your goals, discover your personal potential, and find your own unique solutions to the challenges you face. And together, we can discover the ways in which you can learn to love yourself, allowing yourself the freedom to heal.
Is your child or teen angry, unhappy, or acting out? Do they lack confidence and self-esteem? Do you feel uncertain about how to help? Is parenting a challenge? Would you like to improve your parenting skills? If you've answered "yes" to any of these questions, I'd like to help. I specialize in helping parents and their children. Children have struggles in their lives and they may become anxious, angry, or misbehave. Changes like divorce, a death in the family, a move, or change of school can be stressful and difficult.
You may feel unsure of bringing your child to therapy; I know it may be difficult to acknowledge that you or your child may need help. Parenting can be complicated and is frequently a difficult job. Asking for help does not make you a "bad" parent. You don't have to be alone.
Just as it takes courage to admit that as adults we sometimes need help, it takes strength to seek assistance for our children. By giving yourself and/or your child this opportunity to receive help, you're facilitating their growth and future. I provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy options.”
