I am a special kind of counselor/psychotherapist. My practice is solely dedicated to helping my clients move forward in their lives. Maintaining a life that is full of vitality and new opportunities requires the ability to make positive changes along the way. If we blindly hang on to old thinking patterns, beliefs, and behaviors, while all around us everything appears to be in a state of flux, we let the "flow" of life pass us by. To truly thrive, we must accept feelings of unhappiness or sense of having lost our way as cues that there are things in our life that are holding us back. Welcoming, understanding and using these kinds of cues, we can then set out in exciting, meaningful new directions. When we are truly alive and present, every day is a day of "new Beginnings".
I listen with all my being as my clients tell me their stories. I help them discover the "what and where" of things in their lives they wish to change. Then, I help teach them and/or help them discover how to make positive and meaningful changes they need to make so they can move forward. My relational skills and empathetic hear will provide you with an inviting and encouraging "home base" where you can gain fresh new perspectives as you search for purpose and meaning in your own life.
