I have 30 years experience working with economically challenged and marginalized populations: I worked full time for 11 years with people involved in domestic violence who had been victims and offenders; I subsequently have been providing in-home based or outpatient services for 16 years in Anoka and Maple Grove.
Special interests include how unearned privilege influences individuals and relationships in regards to race, gender, class, religion, able-bodiness and age. I have a feminist theory perspective. I am interested in working with diverse families to find joy in change and to define their current strengths and how to build on their power.
