As a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist (CIRT) I specialize in saving, repairing, enhancing and deepening committed relatinships and I help prepare singles to find their "relationship of a lifetime."
I am passionate about this work because my husband and I were once in trouble ourselves, until, while attending an Imago Couple Workshop, we came to aunderstand the higher purpose of long-term, committed relationships.
With me you will learn to: restore tenderness, communicate skillfully, increase compassion, understand how to express respect and trust, manage and accept your differences and make them work for you, rather than create conflict and alienation.
My commitment is to co-create with you a safe environement, in which you will be encouraged to: explore your respective histories; heal past hurts; renew and nurture your love; and grow into your fullest, joyous and unique wholeness.
I strongly believe that: we are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship and need we to heal in relationship; that the relationship you are in has the potential to help you heal if you are given the skills with which to make the necessary repairs; that the natural "dance" of relationships is composed of repeated cycles of: connection, rupture, disconnection, repair and reconnection; that if you leave your current relationship for another one, you will, most likely,end up "dancing the same dance with a different partner"; that what you are most frustrated with in your partner offers you the best opportunity for personal growth; and that the two of you must create a safe place, free of criticism, attacks, defensiveness and contempt, where you will be able to connect deeply and dissolve your problems.
