I believe that life is all about having healthy, satisfying, positive relationships with ourselves and with others. Relationships are complicated. While it seems like they should be easy, they truly aren't. Most of us approach relationships based on what we have learned in our own lives over the years. Perhaps no one ever modeled for us what a healthy relationship should look like, or perhaps we have some good relational skills that just need some improving. Whether you are struggling with a spouse, partner, child, parent, sibling, friend, co-worker or boss, relationships are primary in our lives and they can be difficult to get right. Our work together focuses on what YOU would like to change.
I have been a therapist for 20 years and have extensive experience helping people improve their relationships. In addition to couples I work with individuals, families and groups. I also work extensively with survivors of abuse and other traumas, addictions and other compulsive behaviors, and with LGBTQ individuals, couples and families.
I am the owner and Director of the Juniper Center/Center for Relationship Health. The Juniper Center is a group of like minded counselors and therapists who share a common philosophy about the uniqueness of each person who walks through our doors. We also try and provide each individual, couple and family with the kind of care attention that we would want for ourselves or for someone we love.
