I work with couples, families, adults, adolescents, children and groups. As an intern I am supervised by Julia L. Morgan, LCS22683 who is a licensed Clinical Social Worker.
My approach is that the entire system or family is seen as a shaping force for each individual's life. Lasting change occurs more naturally when we utilize our natural support system, that of our family.
While our past experiences influence our current situation, we as individuals have the ability to become who we wish to become. Therapy can help our responses to be more authentic and thought out and less rigid and habitual.
Principles of unity, bonding, forgiveness, healing, selflessness and individual worth are all apart of the therapy process. These go hand-in-hand with communication, trust, goal setting, respect, commitment and creating an emotionally safe environment. If you are interested in exploring new possibilities please contact me.
