Having trouble with your relationship? Feeling anxious or depressed? Accessing the latest research, I will partner with you to use clinically proven and straightforward methods, many of which I can teach you to use at home. I use a holistic approach, so together we will look at things like your coping strategies, support networks, spirituality, etc. People often underestimate the power of these factors. Regarding relationships, I believe that for married or committed people much of their personal happiness and satisfaction is dependent on the state of their relationship. Also, research shows that a happy marriage means physically healthier partners.
In addition to treating depression and anxiety, I have two specialties: grief and marital counseling. I have helped many people at The Life Center through their grieving process. I also have a passion to help people have satisfying relationships.
Because I have 20 years of experience in Corporate America, I understand first-hand the stresses and anxieties of a full-time corporate career. I also understand the mental health issues. I believe this gives me a unique edge as a counselor.
