Our counseling help is easy to learn and easy to follow. Our role is to be your teacher, taking an interactive role to give you all the tools you need to become your own self-help counselor. At WTG we pride ourselves in having a confidential and warm environment, where you will feel comfortable in discussing your difficulties. I have been providing counseling in Tampa since 1987. I utilize specific counseling methods that have the highest levels of results anywhere--Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
We do not utilize an Eclectic therapy approach. These, as well as utilizing multiple models/types of therapy may not have the same effective results as utilizing a single method. It is possible that the client may end up confused because there is not a singular curriculum...akin to a math teacher showing you 5 different ways to solve a math problem, and then putting 20 of them on a test and expecting you to know how to solve all of them using all 5 ways.
My way is much simpler than that. Our methodogy is unique to most, where you and I can get to the heart of the matters at hand quickly. Then using tried, true, and statistically proven methods I show you a singular approach to your overcoming issues that will not only make sense, but also stick with you so you can move on to a more content and fulfilling life.
