Marriage Counseling can be a difficult step for many, the fear of admitting something is not working in your relationship. However, many couples find immense relief finally talking openly about what they really want and need from their partner. Marriage Counseling is not a sign of failure but rather a sign of courage, you are taking a bold step to building a happier, stronger love relationship.
In Marriage Therapy sessions we review obstacles impacting closeness and develop communication plans to increase marital satisfaction. I work closely with you to ensure we are meeting your goals and addressing your individual frustrations. Together, we will work to build a healthy inter-dependence while maintaining a strong sense of self.
I work with Adults in Individual Counseling, as in Marriage Counseling, goals are determined by you. Most adults are looking for someone to help them identify and overcome their personal roadblocks to living a fuller, happier, life. Working with a Psychotherapist provides an open and supportive atmosphere while providing objective insight to what prevents us from living to our fullest potential.
I work with a variety of issues including Infidelity, Parenting concerns, Divorce, Depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress.
I also work with Children and Adolescents on an individual basis incorporating Family Therapy sessions as needed.
I received my Master's degree in Counseling with a focus on Child and Family Therapy, from Seattle Pacific University in 1993. I have worked with Children and Families for over 20 years in both the public and private sector.
