My ideal client is looking for change and willing to work collaboratively with me to achieve what he or she is seeking. I use a brief therapy approach, often utilizing hypnotherapy. The ideal couple that seeks counseling with me is also looking for a collaborative, positive process. With couples, I primarily use the Gottman Method to help them resolve conflict, increase intimacy, and look together to the future.
Hypnosis is a wonderful tool for bringing about positive, powerful change, and is well-supported by research. I utilize hypnosis as a tool for anxiety issues (generalized anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, etc.), anger management, depression, addictions, procrastination, eating disorders, trauma, and more (see my website for more information).
I also work with such issues as hypnosis for birth, birth trauma, chronic pain, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I am also trained in family therapy and play therapy for children, having completed my post-master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy and advanced play therapy training.
