I am a contemporary licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Los Angeles' westside. I am interactive and can be directive in my sessions, especially with couples and families. I work with individual adults and adolescents as well as couples and families. My work is sacred and I respect each individual as their own person. Therefore, my approach or treatment plans are 'customed designed' for the needs of the specific individuals before me.
I often reply to the question, "What is your specialization" by saying, "Human Beings". I prefer to acknowledge where another human being is in their life process and work from there, as opposed to attempting to fit people into formulas or 'cookie-cutter' modes of treatment and interventions. I discuss openly what each person wishes to gain from treatment and we work together as a team. I do mean work. Changing behaviors, gaining insight, healing, and transforming our perspectives on life does take a concentrated effort of the part of the individual as well as the therapist.
