I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in treating Individuals, couples and adolescents, struggling with anxiety, depression and PTSD. Through deep listening I help uncover hidden beliefs and judgments preventing healing and self-compassion. I utilize EMDR, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques for healing.
I also help parents understand and work with some of the more challenging behaviors of their kids while helping the children and adolescents develop more positive coping strategies. Through the work, parents and children together learn to enhance and enrich their relationships. Families learn how to work through their challenges together and enjoy each other more. For years I have helped many parents and children connect and heal together.
In addition, I often work with parents individually on parenting skills and relationship issues that might be affecting their children. Sometimes parent's own emotional issues need time and space to be heard and worked through so that they can enjoy their family life more. I work with people struggeling with depression, anxiety and couples issues by helping them tap into their innate strengths, passions and wisdom for healing.
