Carole is a licensed marriage and family therapist with years of experience treating individuals, couples and families. She holds a Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Hofstra University and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook. Carole also has extensive training in Trauma and Bereavement work with individuals, children and families.
As a therapist trained in family systems, Carole can treat a wide range of serious clinical problems including: depression, anger, marital problems, anxiety, individual psychological problems, and child-parent problems. Her therapeutic style is a brief, solution-focused therapy that drives to attain specific therapeutic goals.
In addition to being a family therapist, Carole was on the faculty staff at Hofstra University where she taught in the Marriage & Family Therapy programs. More recently Carole has worked with families that have lost a loved one on September 11th, 2001 and with at-risk children and their families.
